I have an idea for the soon-to-be 8th graders (and Chris!): Let’s all say one interesting thing about ourselves on this post. That way, the new 7th graders can get to know us a little bit. Okay, here goes… Something most people would not guess about me is that I am a baseball fanatic! (almost as much as Mr Dowling) The Mets are my team, and I root for them through the good times and the bad. Lately, it’s been mainly bad. Through reading many baseball books, I know lots of trivia that most kids my age probably wouldn’t. Many people root for a baseball team, but don’t really get the sport. I enjoy playing catch with my dad, and yelling at the TV when the umps get a call wrong. I watch Yankee games too (if there’s nothing else on) and Reds games, of course, when possible. Even Phillies games, occasionally. Basically, anything to do with baseball, I’ll watch! Go Mets! (who are losing, 9-3, to the Braves)
