Things sure have been busy these last few days.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! to all of you who have stopped by the blog with your kind words. It was something to look forward to when coming home after a long day at the hospital.
We’re home now and adjusting to our new lives. However, everything has been wonderful. I added another picture from yesterday.

Although I would love to stay home forever with DJ, I do miss being at work with my students. I’m looking forward to my return.

My son and I actually watched our first Reds game together yesterday. He slept through it and was pretty lucky to do so, they didn’t play well at all.

Eventually I’ll get back to the regular swing of things on the blog…I just haven’t had the time (or energy) to discuss my regular thoughts.

    Awwwww…..
I pictured the reds game you watched….
While Mr. Dowling is screaming and yelling at the tv, dj is just laying there asleep…

HE IS SO CUTE!!!! I’m so happy for you and Mrs. Dowling!!! I imagined that when you watched the reds game you were screaming at the tv and DJ was laying in Mrs. Dowling’s arms asleep!

Was your son bored or tired when watching the game? I’m sure tired because he’s a Dowling so he’ll love the Reds…
Does little DJ sleep well? I understand if you’re tired because my mom said that when I was newborn-1 year, I slept for maximum of 2 hours straight before waking up and throwing a fit… I hope he sleeps well!

Congratulations on the new addition to your family. I am sure that you will have more time to grade papers at night since the baby will keep you up. Looking forward to having you back in class.

Ha Jacob. (I doubt that he will have extra time when he is woken up, for the reason that he is woken up).

Jesse, I’m now the police. No 1 or 2 word posts, please! I feel like I’m saying congrats to everybody!

    Good for you Rachel!
We all understand that you have less time to post than you did before. Also, Jacob, that made no sense. If the baby is keeping Mr Dowling up, how will have more free time?!?!?!

Also, we miss you Mr Dowling! Can’t wait to have you back in class on Monday! Will you bring in more pictures?

  16. Comment by Wyn on March 7, 2010 at 11:22 am

It makes sense because if he’s awake all night, he has time to grade papers….it doesn’t really make sense though because he’d be with dj the entire time…

Well my team got in 7th place (out of 43) and team 1 got in first.

Mr. Dowling, will you be back in school tomorrow? Just wondering! Even though we miss you, take your time with your little one :)
