Today, among other things, we will watch “I’m Just a Bill” from Schoolhouse Rock. Should I be annoyed that this is the most anticipated event from my class? I’m beginning to be jealous.
Actually, of all of the videos, this one probably does the best job of explaining the bill process. You could use the lyrics to study for the upcoming test (3/12/10).

Yesteday their was a pep rally (basically, we watched people play tug of war, and their was a push up competition). I saw people sitting during the national anthem.
Is it so much to ask, to stand for one minute? Are people that un-american?
The same goes for the pledge. It’s just one minute out of our day, and I feel it’s disrespectful to sit.

I agree Chris. So many people in my homebase stay seated during the Pledge, and most people don’t even say it. I mean, come on! Are you that tired that you absolutely cannot stand for the Pledge for maybe 30 seconds each day???? That to me is unacceptable.
